There’s no doubt in any sneakerhead’s mind that the sacai x Nike VaporWaffle “Villain Red” is one of the craziest creps in the history of mankind. The brainchild of visionary designer Chitose Abe, we caught our first glimpse of this high heat hybrid all the way back in January during Paris fashion Week, and now, we’re getting our best look yet!
Featuring an ultra breathable Flyknit construction, the “Villain Red” is painted in a wine red hue with creamy “String” tones arriving on the lateral and medial side panels. Buttery smooth suede descends on the toe box, heel, and also the “Neptune Green” lacing system as well, resulting in an insanely premium construction that is sure to stand the test of time.

Of course, it wouldn’t be a silhouette from the Japanese fashion icon without a healthy dose of deconstruction. just like her last two Nike collaborations, not only will you find twice the Swooshes and tongues here, you’ll also find a double stacked Waffle midsole as well that quite literally offers two times the comfort with every step.
